The Mariposa Margarita tastes just as good as it looks! Butterfly Pea Powder adds a beautiful blue hue, metamorphizing to purple once you add the lime wedges.
Ingredients
4 oz. Island Oasis Margarita Mix
1.5 oz. 100% Agave Silver Tequila
0.5 oz. Triple Sec
Butterfly Pea Powder for Ice Cubes
Directions
Add all ingredients (except pea powder) to a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain over fresh ice in the serving glass ONLY Half filled with ice.
Garnish with Lime Wedge and add 2-3 Butterfly Pea Tea Ice Cubes (Prepare in traditional ice cube tray and simply place on top. As it melts the color change will happen) *
*Combine 4 teaspoons blue butterfly pea flower tea with boiling water to steep. Bring to room temp and pour into traditional ice cube trays. Freeze at least 4-5 hours or overnight. Pop out and store frozen in zip lock or another sealed container
